The good news is the 2021 Jamboree is going ahead at Cardross Golf Club next week (14-16) June.

Due to the restrictions still in place, it was agreed that this year’s competition will take a different format than normal. The competition will be 8 single matches against each county from a squad of 10 players with no caddies involved.

Renfrewshire’s squad includes: Eilidh Briggs; Megan Briggs; Donna Jackson; Gillian Kyle; Alyson McGinnigle; Jennifer Rankine; Liz Stewart; Emma Thomson-Burns; Carol Whyte; and Julie Wilson.

The first flight tees off at 10.00 am each day and second flight starts at 12 noon.

Renfrewshire play: Ayrshire (2nd flight) on the Monday; D&A (1st flight) on the Tuesday; and Lanarkshire (2nd flight) on the Wednesday.

If you require any further information then please get in touch and I know you’ll join me in wishing the squad all the best for next week.
