Membership Fee
New members are always made very welcome in the RLCGA. To qualify for membership you need to have been born or living in what is defined by Scottish Golf as Renfrewshire County or be a member of one of the 25 Golf Clubs situated in Renfrewshire that is affiliated to Scottish Golf (see list of Clubs provided in the 'History' sub-menu).
The handicap limit is 30.
The application process to join RLCGA is very straight forward and requires you to initially print and complete the application form. The completed form is then sent to the Membership Secretary, Sandra MacDougall, at the address provided on the form or alternatively you can scan and send the form to Sandra's listed email address. Sandra will thereafter contact you to discuss your application form and provide payment instructions.
There are three levels of membership and associated fees;
- Juniors under 18 - no charge and automatic membership if a member of a Renfrewshire Club
- 18 - 22 years - no charge
- 23 years* and above - £10 joining fee and £35 annual subscription
* age on 1st January of the golfing season subscription period
Members are invoiced their annual subscription re-newals for the following year's golf season in October with the balance due by 31st December. Payment can be made through BACS, cheque or cash.
