At long last, with social golf on the agenda commencing 29th May, subject to final confirmation this Thursday, we are starting to see a bit of light in what has been a long dark tunnel of lockdown. Although our gardens have probably never looked so good so early in the year!
Competitive golf away from home courses is still a bit away which means, unfortunately, that our June Medal at Kilmacolm GC on 30th June has been cancelled as has the July Medal at Cathcart Castle GC on the 10th July. As a consequence our plan to trial a 9-hole competition alongside the July medal has now being deferred until 2021.
A decision on the August Medal (East Renfrewshire GC), Greensomes (Cochrane Castle GC) and Tri-am (Gleddoch GC) will be made nearer the time.
In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy getting back to the fairways when we get the final go ahead, stay safe and "thank you" once again for all your support and patience during these difficult times.
